The Essence of Heavensent

Here’s a bit about me and my journey over the past couple of decades or so, with my soul-led business Heavensent. My life and my life’s work are so intertwined ~ as it’s all a reflection of my soul’s essence ~ from the very beginning of my journey establishing Heavensent on the Gold Coast, QLD in 2002 then moving to Karratha, WA in 2007 then here to Broome in 2017, as every step, has shaped me into who I am today.

When I began my business in 2002, I had no idea it would still be going or that I would be living on the other side of Australia, continuing to help people to heal through all of the beautiful offerings at Heavensent. As I have continually transformed and evolved over the years, so too has my business grown alongside me, since its humble beginnings.

I have been on a healing journey myself, since I was young, always being drawn to self-help, healing and spirituality. In my twenties, I struggled with addictions and depression which pushed me to embark on a deep soul-searching, to be able to free myself from those challenges. I feel so incredibly blessed to have been in recovery for over 24 years, having achieved sobriety, the last time when I was 31. This was when I became a massage therapist in 2001 and then began my business in 2002 when I was in early recovery. I attended South Pacific rehab twice to get sober, did many years of Gestalt therapy and 12 step programs - mainly AA and CoDa.

My soul’s journey has been highly transformational, allowing me to heal from addictions and codependency, ultimately granting me a brand new life. Sobriety has liberated me to embrace my true authentic self and it’s a continual, humbling and empowering walk to be on. It has felt to me like a homecoming to my true essence, underneath all of the layers of what being in addictions, can impose upon our beautiful sensitive souls. This is truly the greatest, most loving choice I ever made for myself, which I am so profoundly grateful for everyday, to still be living sober and free.

Two decades later, the next most loving thing I chose to do was to follow a calling to learn Reiki and I started on my Reiki path. My Reiki journey has reminded me of my sobriety journey alot, also offering a new way to live lighter and freer. This gentle yet powerful practice has facilitated a really deep evolution from within, guiding me toward my highest self.

A few months into my Reiki Mastership journey, I had a heartfelt calling to share all the knowledge and wisdom I have learnt throughout my life. I am passionate about empowering others especially other women, to help them to overcome any self doubt and limiting beliefs. By showing them that they too, have the innate ability to heal themselves. I see my divine service work as my calling and as an enormous privilege, that allows me to lovingly support humanity in their self-healing journey’s.

I am a dedicated Reiki Master Teacher Practitioner in traditional Usui Reiki. I’m also an Indian Head Massage Teacher and Practitioner and I hold a Certificate IV qualification in Massage Therapy. I am Certified in Craniosacral Therapy Level III and Multidimensional Healing Level l, as well as a Crystal Healing Practitioner. I’ve also done studies in various other energy healing courses. I have spent many years studying and working with the art of energy flow in people, homes and workplaces.

Thanks for being here everyone and for supporting my beautiful small business. I cannot wait to help more people to learn, so they will feel the healing that they can do. As when you choose to heal yourself, it is the most loving thing you can do for you and for everyone else around you.
